Virtual Choir

Have you guys seen these? Pretty fantastic. It's the brain child of American composer/conductor Eric Whitacre and its a musical experiment where almost 200 different people, all around the world, each separately record themselves singing one part of a choir piece and then they combine them all together. The whole concept is, 'singing together, alone' and it turned out amazingly and sounds like they were all there together recording it. I love the idea that we can all be apart from each other and not even know each other but can play our individual role to unify and create something beautiful. Here is a little background.
